Overview:
No one had a more up and down stock than Drew Allar in 2024. The talented quarterback led the Nittany Lions to a Big 10 Championship berth, falling short against the Oregon Ducks. The team still made the CFP where Allar had lackluster performances despite the team's run. He will come into the 2025 season with all the room to rebuild his stock and show the once sky-high potential that enamored NFL scouts.
2024 Statistics: 3,327 Yards - 24 Touchdowns - 8 Interceptions - 153.5 Passer Rating
Accolades:

Strengths:
Well built body with above average athleticism.
Elite arm strength that allows him to stretch the field and make every NFL throw.
Natural play extender who can become a runner and be effective in every phase of the offense.
Shows the ability to get the ball to the boundary and work the outer zones with high proficiency.
Doesn’t force the issue when working through progressions taking what the defense gives him.
Has a very quick internal clock.
Shows the ability to make pre-snap reads and shift protections accordingly.
Weaknesses:
Shrinks in the big moments when the game is forced into his hands.
May be more of a system player than a true floor raiser.
Holds the ball to try and make a play rather than living to fight another day.
Looks to run rather than extend plays leaving yards on the field.
Decision making has lapses especially when the defense shifts post-snap.
Tends to be late on reads allowing defenders to close passing windows.
